Groetken was praised by nominators for his technical skills and experience, his practical and caring approach to client relationships, and his exceptional ability to communicate difficult technical topics to both senior executives and non-patent lawyers. Groetken also was recognized for his contributions to the Association of Patent Law Firms (APLF), for which he served as president, vice president and a board member for the last six years.
